SIGN

Signs can provide more information about the area around them.  You can see
the information by typing look sign or look plaque.  Sometimes, the builder
might choose to use other keywords, such as 'book', 'ledger', 'board', and so
on.

Most often, they offer information about commands or special features that
are available in the room that they're in.  A sign might tell you that you
can list to see a shopkeeper's inventory, for example.

They are also occasionally used to display credits, or just little easter
eggs for observant players to find.

A room that has a sign in it should always mention the sign in the room
description, so that players know to look for it.  If you find a sign that
seemed hard to find and it probably shouldn't be, please let the Immortals
know so they can fix it!
