CTF2CHANGELOG
2/18/05 - Restarted work on CTF2. The game is currently operational.
Current classes: Thief, Warlock, Necromancer, Monk, Cleric.
Expanded the helps and wrote up the observation deck code.
need to fix echo on boom and autocrossbow
also, need to do ground level observation. Maybe tomorrow.
2/19/05 - fixed echo on boom and autocrossbow.
removed the 2-cleric bug. Need to audit healer code.
fixed the "giving-hp" bug. Shouldn't be able to, it removes you for trying.
2/20/05 - Audited healer code. Fixed a loophole. Fixed Cleric getting
ToLich at start of game. Put detect_hidden on the headbands.
Added wave 2 anticamp: don't take your own flag from the flagroom.
Removed restrictions on only one trap in room. More allowed once more.
The lower observation deck will be really hard to do, so I'm not gonna
do it for a while. Nyah. Clerics now immune to grimtooth's healing.
4/27/11 - Whoa, whoa, whoa. Updated? Anyhow, working on fixing the weird
affstrip and item removal problems when the game ends. (PS - it's fixed)
4/28/11 - All endgame procedures updated to work. Msoc fixed the mprog exit
trigger to work better. Necromancers no longer get a trap or take double time
to initially spawn. Flagcarriers can't hide in the warlock/lich room anymore.
You see your frags and suicides after the game before they're stripped now.
Soulreaver properly echoes lich status now. Warlocks init with Warbolt now.
Black autocrossbows don't deal 10 damage to monks carrying clericball anymore.
And at the last minute, I added the CHAKRA skill to monks. Busy day!
4/29/11 - Fixed score display on endgame when I'm not in the control room.
Fixed a couple doors that weren't closing on endgame. Added floor cleanup to
endgame procedures. Warlocks can't use their warbolt to kill crossbows now.
Fixed a small error with how mages regain SP when they die(and they're not
even implemented yet!) Fixed the prog that makes weapons drop when you die.
It was BADLY messed up. Also, began doing echos to the ground level boxes.
Fixed the echoes for dropping a weapon. Added a prog for a monk taking 10
damage from something other than a crossbow. Added more ground box echoes.
Added alternate equip keywords for weapons. Even more ground box echoes.
4/30/11 - Fixed the stack overflow on wepdrop. It works perfectly now! Fixed
the name on [SP] objects so respawning as a mage doesn't accidentally destroy
certain pieces of equipment you own. Added more ground box echoes. [HP] are
now no_drop no_uncurse. All progs updated to deal with this change. This
makes it impossible to cheat by dropping/picking up or handing other players
your [HP] objects.
5/1/11 - Added another ground box echo. Added a new command to see what class
players are in case you forgot. Just press teams at any time to see them.
That out of the way, I believe I'm done with updates until we get more games
in. I need to refamiliarize myself with the balance of the game before I
begin design on mages and sorcerors. I'll implement warriors as soon as I'm
comfortable with their place in the game.
5/2/11 - Closed off the war rooms so that mortals can't get stuck in them.
There is now a portal at MS to CTF2(named CTF2 portal). You can wander in
here now. Press "home" in the room of binding to go back to MS.
5/13/11 - Fixed a bug where you were doubling up on [HP] objects when you were
killed for camping a flag. It didn't actually affect gameplay, just your
display of your HP. Still, fixed.
