LOOT
*********************LOOTING*******************************
To new players: Note that the rules below apply to PLAYER kills, not mob
kills. You can loot whatever you like off of mobs - that's what they're
there for!
When you kill someone (YOU or YOUR GROUP), you are allowed to loot items from
the corpse. Further, the one who got the final blow is in charge of what the
group does. If rules are broken, the leader of the group is the first to get
into trouble.
Illegal aspects of the game where looting is concered:
1. If you did not KILL them, you are NOT allowed to loot them.
2. Stealing items lost due to charm is NOT legal.
3. Stealing items lost due to heat metal is NOT legal.
4. Stealing disarmed weapons is NOT legal.
5. Stealing things lost due to 'dominate soul' is also NOT legal.
6. Stealing things lost due to weaken/poison is also NOT legal.
Some things are allowed to be looted such as:
1. Gold (with no limit)
2. Diamonds (with no limit)
3. Personal items (3 Max Limit)
4. Immortal items are considered gifts from the gods and not to be taken from
any corpse. (IE: restrings, wafers, gold stars, etc..) (NO RANSOM)
5. Quest items (no limit) yet MUST be ransomed back (rate is 1/10 the
level of the person who died, NOT the person who got the kill)
6. Restrung items (no limit) MUST be ransomed at a rate of 1/10 the level
of the owner.
Some things to remember in your travels, that will let you live longer around
immortals.
1. Looting someone out of your range is ILLEGAL.
2. Looting from a corpse you just happened to find is ILLEGAL.
3. Looting anyone under the level of 15 is ILLEGAL and ILLEGAL!
Due to the excessive looting that has been going on, these rules are to take
the place of any past. Some clans have their own laws of the loot, and these
are to be considered for those clans, yet they do NOT take power over the
immortal laws. Illegal lootings that have gone on in these realms will be
taken less lightly from now on, so if you choose to break these rules, expect
more than that week long dungeon sentence.
If you think the killed will return w/o asking, you CAN move the corpse, but
you have to tell them you are doing so, and return it within 15 minutes. If
they get angry and upset you, that does not mean you may teleport a full
corpse to "get them back" or you'll find your corpses lying below the grates
of flesh temple, or against the back wall of the troll cavern. The
punishment will now fit the crime.
