BASICS

The basic skills:

Every character starts with at least two skill groups, one for their class and
a default set that all characters receive.  The default skills are:

clanweapon   At 15th level this skill may be practiced (See CLAN).
recall       Essential escape skill (See RECALL).
scrolls      Reading of scrolls and other magical volumes (See SCROLL).
staves       Use of magical staves (See STAVES).
wands        Use of magical wands (See WANDS).
